TO SUNKAR falcon farm for Show - Birds of prey hunting

Almaty sightseeing: visit to the 28 Panfilov's guardsmen park, Cathedral, Museum of national musical instruments, National museum, Medeo gorge, Kok-Tobe hill and Republic square.

After Almaty sightseeing transfer to SUNKAR center - birds of prey farm ( 7 km). SUNKAR center is located in Alma-Arasan gorge. Here you can see much of birds of prey and birds of prey hunting show. 7 species of birds of prey take part in show with score. You will obtain information about falcon hunting history, organic traits and life-style of birds of prey.

A TRIP TO TAMGALY PETROGLIPHS

Duration - 10 hours

There are more 150 places with petrogliphs in Kazakhstan, but Tamgaly is most well-known.
Transfer Almaty - Kopa station - Tamgaly (163 km, 3 hours). Excursion to the Rock Art Gallery. Lunch. Return in Almaty.

A TRIP TO BESSHATYR BURIAL MOUNDS AND SINGING SANDS

Duration - 12 hours
Season - April - October

Transfer Almaty - Kapchagay - Chengeldy village - Besshatyr Burial Mounds (175 km, 3,5 hours). Excursion to Besshatyr Burial Mounds ( burial places of saks tsars of VII-III B.C.) . Transfer to Singing Dune (45 km, 1,5 hour). Excursion to Singing Dune ( the natural phenomen is that the sand dunes can produce sounds resembling an organ melody. Lunch. Return to Almaty (220 km, 5 hours).

A TRIP TO TURGEN GORGE (BEAR WATERFALL)

Transfer Almaty - Turgen gorge (90 km, 2 hours)l. Excursion to Bear waterfall. Visit to trout farm. Walking. Lunch. Back to Almaty.

A TRIP TO BIG ALMATY MOUNTAIN LAKE.

Transfer Almaty - Big Almaty lake ( the lake is 1,5 km long and 35 m deep) was formed about 8000 years ago as result tectonic fluctuation. (H-2527) (30 km, 1,5 hours). Walking at environs of lake. Lunch. Back to Almaty.

 

A TRIP TO CHARYN CANYON — unique natural memoria

Transfer Almaty - Chilik village - Charyn canyon (220 km, 3-3,5 hours).
Excursion to Charyn canyon ("Valley of Castles"), Water, wind and time have created fantastic sculptures, wonderfully beautiful and diverse. Lunch. Back to Almaty.
