Kazakhs planing expedition on Lhotze

Nurlan Smagulov, the sponsor of many Himalaya expeditions, has informed, that expedition on Lhotze takes place. Who pays for it, while is not clear, but very much it would be desirable, that kazakh mountaineering will finishe the program “ 14 tops ”.

Ervand Iljinsky hopes that the project “ Kazakh at the highest tops of the world ” at last will be completed. The members of team are Maxut Zhumaev, Vasiliy Pivtsov and several young climbers. But it will be not unique Kazakhs on Lhotse: Denis Urubko in pair with Italian Simone Moro plan there in the spring a new route on a wall in the Alpine style.
